How are keys made or designed ? and how come a key of one lock cannot work on another lock of the same brand ?

how are they made different ?

and what is the probability that I will find 2 keys / lock to be same

One manufacturer producing 1000s of locks cannot make 1000 variation in keys ?

Is it a laptop? Do you have a "num lock" key? if you do, just push it and will deactivate this mode. It's intended to use the central bits of your keyboard as a numeric keyboard, rendering the rest of keys "numb". A light might popup if the function is active Smile Good luck.
